Gerald H. Wagner, 74, of North Strabane, died Monday, December 5, 2016.
He was born January 14, 1942, in Strabane, a son of Henry and Elizabeth Graytok Wagner.
Gerald attended St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg, and Holy Rosary Church, in Muse.
He enjoyed cutting his grass, was an avid Nascar fan, and especially enjoyed going to the races with his sons.
He served his country with the National Guard. Mr. Wagner was a member of the S.N.P.J. and the K.S.K.J in Strabane.
Prior to his retirement, Gerald worked in the insulation department for McGraw Edison, Cooper Industries and Pennsylvania Transformer.
On May 7, 1966, he married his loving wife of over 50 years, Rosann Mazzotta Wagner, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Gerald J. Wagner, and his wife Lori, of Eighty Four, Daniel C. Wagner, of New Orleans, LA; sister, Lydia Hafenbrack, and her husband Christopher, of Eighty-Four; 5 grandchildren, Ciara, Joseph Dustin, Lucy and Gigi Wagner; several nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Eleanor Wagner, and Margaret Wagner.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayer services will be held in the funeral home, Friday, at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, Friday at 10am, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
