William Roberts

William  Roberts, 91, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, July 9, 2020 in Townview Health and Rehabilation Center, Canonsburg.
He was born March 18, 1929, in Greensburg. 
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a utility worker for Industrial Gasket & Shim, in Meadowlands.
He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg. Mr. Roberts was a life long resident of the Muse and Canonsburg area. He was a member of the S.N.P.J., 138. in Strabane. 
Surviving are his loving wife, Loretta Casper Roberts; his son, William "Randy" (Debbie) Roberts, of Cecil; his daughter, Barbara Ann (Eric) Garrett, of Grove City; his brothers, Thomas (Ruth) Roberts, Jr., of Greensburg, Robert "Handle" (Lucy) Roberts, of Muse, Joseph (Kathy) Roberts, of Bethel Park; his grandchildren, Brendan Roberts, of Cecil, and Lindsay (Tyler) Roberts, of Scott Twp.; great grandchildren, Lily and Landon Roberts; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew, and Melvyn Roberts and his sister-in-law, Fran Roberts.
Friends will be received Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. In the continued interest of public safety, everyone is asked to wear facial coverings, and maintain social distancing.
Panachida service Sunday, at 2pm. 
Departing prayers will be held in the funeral home Monday, at 9:30am, followed by Liturgy in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Canonsburg, with Fr. Joseph Raptosh, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Michael 's Cemetery, Canonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Michael's Cemetery, Canonsburg, in William Robert's name.
