Walter Edward Markle, Jr., 62, of Eighty Four, died Friday, July 31, 2020 in his home.
He was born October 21, 1957, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Walter and Shirley Sochor Markle.
Walter was a member of the Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a self employed painter for many years, and retired from the Canonsburg General Hospital, where he worked in the house keeping department. He enjoyed gardening, his dogs, discussing politics, and mostly spending time with his family.
On September 21, 1996, he married his loving wife, Jamie Neill Markle, who survives.
Also surviving are his brothers, Wayne (Pam) Markle, Wesley (Diane) Markle, and William (Sydney) Markle; sisters, Charmaine Alexander, and Shirley Harris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services will be private.
