Ruth Ann Cumer Yago, 84, of McDonald, died Saturday, September 9, 2023, in her home.
She was born September 10, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of Alex and Edith Perrine Cumer.
Ruth graduated from Canonsburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, and worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, John Joseph Yago, of McDonald; daughters, Gina (Daniel) Kostrub, of McDonald, Alexis (Albert) Maresca, of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey; brothers, Kenneth (Ruthann) Cumer, of Claysville, Gerald (Mary) Cumer, of Greensburg; sisters, Betty Novak, of Canonsburg, Helen (Byron) Inman, of Eugene, Oregon; sister in law, Shirley Cumer, of Texas; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Justine, A.J. (Lara), Brett, Jacob, Dylan (Aniela), and Colin; 1 great grandchild, A.J; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Yago; brothers, Alex, Richard, Raymond and William Cumer.
