Rosemary Theresa Dindak, 84, of Houston, died Sunday, January 23, 2022.
She was born February 15, 1937, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Frank and Rose Osley Mrazik.
She was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, and attended the Miraculous Medal Church, where she was active with Christian Mothers, and was a former CCD teacher. She enjoyed sewing, caring for others, singing, and mostly spending time with her family, as she was a grandmother to 13.
On October 18, 1958, she married her husband, Andrew Dindak, with whom she shared over 63 years of marriage.
Surviving are her son, Phillip (Laurie) Dindak, of Allen, Texas; Jim (Michele) Dindak, of Mt. Lebanon, Mark (Maureen) Dindak, of Imperial; daughters, Maria (Jay) White, of Washington, Debbie (Mark) Coen, of Canonsburg, Andrea Dindak, of Houston; sister, Carol Janusek, of Munhall; 13 grandchildren, David (Maya), Rebekah (Chris), Anna (Riley), John, Nathaniel (Briana), Abigail, Alyssa (Levi), Josiah, Mark Jr. (Holly), Lauren (Alan), Brittany (Wayne), Edward, and Samantha; 7 great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Roman, Denver, Jax, Willow, Marek, and Emery; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Edward Mrazik; and her sister, Dorothy Sunderland.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
There will be no public visitation on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Services will be held in the funeral home, Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 11am in the funeral home, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Three Rivers Hospice, or Gallagher Home Health Care Hospice, in Rosemary's name.
