Robert F. "Bobby" Liberatore
Owner - Canonsburg Vending
Our hearts have been saddened by the passing of my husband, our father, grandfather, uncle and best friend, Bob Liberatore on March 28, 2020.
Born on March 6, 1942, in Canonsburg, a son of Frank "Futchie" and Ida Terling Liberatore, a town where he owned and operated Canonsburg Vending Company for over 60 years, retiring in June of 2019.
When his sons were young, he looked forward to family road trips in his motor home. Bob enjoyed challenging his friends with trivia questions about his home town and the oldies. He was an expert when it came to ford cars, especially 1964 fords. Bob looked forward to going to weekly car shows and occasionally spending time at car flea markets with his close friends.
Left to cherish all those happy memories are his wife of 50 years, Myrtle Kapis Liberatore, two sons, Kevin and Bob (Jennifer) Jr., both of Canonsburg, 5 grandchildren, Devin, Madison, Matthew, Lauren and Lindsey; being a part of his grandchildren's lives made him happy. His brothers Don and Frank, nieces Rhonda and Vickie, and all who knew, loved and cared for him. Also to cherish his many memories are all his fellow car enthusiasts.
Bob has always said that if he were to reincarnate, he'd live his life exactly the way he did by not changing a thing.
A special "thank you" for all their care and concerns is given to the staff of the 4th floor at Townview in Canonsburg.
Due to current restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, PA , 15317, Phillip L. Sollon, Supervisor, 724-746-1000.
