Robert Copechal Obituary

Robert Leroy Copechal, 75, of Eighty-Four, died Monday, February 15, 2021.
He was born October 4, 1945, in Charleroi, a son of Louis and Helen Oswald Copechal. 
He was Catholic. Mr. Copechal had been affiliated with the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Mon-Valley Leathernecks.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of a recon Marine Corps unit while assigned to the First Marine Division, and received an honorable discharge in December 1967.
Surviving are his son, Robert (Sheralee) Copechal Jr., of Washington; his daughter, Michelle Cohen, of Washington; his step son, Larry Campbell, of Bentleyville; step daughters, Kara Adkins and Tina Puchi; sisters, Matilda Thompson, Helen (Richard) Ogden, and Gertrude (Doug) Paxton.
On December 30, 1988, he married his loving wife, Terry Lee Copechal, who died August 4, 2020. Deceased in addition to his parents and his wife are his daughter, Kimberly Copechal; brother, Louis Copechal; sister Mary Meredith; and his half brothers and sisters, Pete, Peggy, Violet, and Margaret Smarty.
Friends and family are welcome Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8pm, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. Facial coverings are required and state regulations will be followed. Services will be held in the funeral home, Monday, at 11:30am, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
