Rita (Wozniak) Nemeth

Rita D. Wozniak Nemeth, 82, of Canonsburg, died Friday, June 16, 2023.
She was born November 4, 1940, in Canonsburg, a daughter of  Edward "Jughead" and Dorothy Zylo Wozniak. 
She was a member of St. Oscar Romaro Parish.
Rita worked as a nurse for several years at the Canonsburg General Hospital. 
She enjoyed camping, word search puzzles, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed music, and played the accordion and organ.
On August 10, 1963, she married her husband, Robert Julius Nemeth, who died September 14, 2013.
Surviving are her sons, Robert (Linda) Nemeth, of Washington, Richard (Ronda) Nemeth, of Canonsburg; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa (Steve) Nemeth, Meghan Nemeth, David (Amanda) Ritenour, Jeffrey Ritenour, Jessica (Justin) Schmitt, and Kaitlin Capo; 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Friends will be received Monday, June 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 10:30-11:30, the time of services, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
