Mary Ellen Egbert

Mary Ellen Egbert, 75, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, October 28, 2023.

She was born July 27, 1948 in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Genevieve Prusak Egbert. 

Mary retired in 2004, as a social studies teacher for Canon McMillian. Her love for education will always be remembered by her students.
She enjoyed polka music, trips to the casino and traveling. She was a devout catholic and loved her church Holy Rosary.
Surviving is her aunt, Agnes Bevec of Canonsburg; uncle, George Bunevich of Canonsburg; and several cousins.

Friends will be received Thursday, 5-8pm, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayers will be held Friday at 9:30am in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass at 10am, in  Holy Rosary Church St. Oscar Romero Parish in Muse.
Interment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggest donations be made to a charity of your choice.
