Obituary

Lillian D. Ranko, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, January 28, 2023.
She was born August 1, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of Arthur Clifford and Lillian Salada Norris. She graduated from Washington High School.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a laundry aide at the Washington Hospital.
She loved to crochet, and if you knew Lil, you had a pair of her slippers, a hat or scarf that she made. Lil was happiest when she was surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her sons, Robert (Joy) Ranko, of Washington, Ronald (Marcy) Ranko, of Prosperity; daughter, Rebecca (Stephen) Paccone. of Manchester, Massachusetts; 7 grandchildren, Robert (Katherine) Ranko, Jonathan (Charlotte) Ranko, Mackenzie (Tyler) Maltony,  Kyla (Vince Russo) Ranko; Julia Paccone, Mitchell Paccone, and Mason Paccone; 5 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Lucy, Remington, Easton, and Lucia. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Clifford Norris, Jr.

Arrangements are private, and entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. A celebration of  life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, www.washingtonpashelter.org; in Lillian Ranko's name. Please no flowers.
