Kalliope "Kal" Flaskos, 85, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
She was born August 26, 1936 in Canonsburg, a daughter of Antonio and Maria Flaskos.
Ms. Flaskos was an active member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. She was a member of the Pan Rhodian Society,Cretan Club, and Daughters of Penelope where she held various offices. She enjoyed Greek music and culture.
Surviving are her brother, Haralampos (Angeline) Flaskos, of Beaver; her nephews, Michael and Anthony (Christina) Flaskos; great niece, Angeliki Kalliope and great nephew, Haralampos Michael; and the Lucas, Carroll, Raymond Families, to whom she was lovingly known as YiaYia Pope.
Friends will be received Monday, 3-7pm, in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317. Trisagion will be held 6:30pm in the Church. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, 10-11am, in the church, followed by services at 11am with Father George Athanasiou, officiating. Burial will follow.
