Dorothy was Roman Catholic, and active with the lady's club for many years. She was an active member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, where she sang Croatian songs with their Jelica group in her younger years. Dorothy was known for always having lipstick on, and dressing nicely. She always smiled, and said hello, or waved, at anyone she walked by. She was loved by many.
