Donald O'Donnell Obituary

Donald L. O'Donnell, 83, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
He was born February 3, 1937, in Hendersonville, a son of Daniel and Hazel Triner O'Donnell. 
Mr. O'Donnell was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country with the United States Navy.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a welder, sandblaster and handyman for Fort Pitt Bridgeworks and Morgan building.
He enjoyed building models and working in his garage.
On April 27, 1957, he married his loving wife, Barbara Cage, who died October 23, 2006.
Surviving are his sons, Donald L. O'Donnell, Jr., of Canonsburg, Patrick (Rebecca) O'Donnell, of Canonsburg; daughters, April Lynn Olchock, of Washington, Catherine O'Donnell, of Canonsburg, Margaret Louise (Terry) Huchko, of Canonsburg; his brother, David O'Donnell, of Waynesburg; sister, Mary Lou (Steve) Newman, of Washington, Faith Chaudhry of Washington; grandchildren, Rory, Elise, Emerson, Duke, Cain, Nathan, Samantha, Cody and Brett; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry O'Donnell, sisters, June O'Donnell and Boots McCormick; and his grandchild, James O'Donnell.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, www.apdaparkinson.org, in Donald L. O'Donnell's name.
