Dolores Arlene (Mann) Yanchak

Dolores Arlene Yanchak, 88, of Scenery Hill, died Thursday, April 25, 2024.

She was born November 9, 1935 in Farmington, a daughter of  late Lester and Martha Parnell Mann. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Mayview State Hospital as a dietary worker. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and reading. She was a former member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church, Canonsburg. 

Surviving are her two sons, Daniel (Cindy), of Scenery Hill, Jack (Nancy), of Catawissa; her three daughters, Cathy (John) Mitchell, of Scenery Hill,  Lorraine (Bob) Mitchell, of Uncasville, Connecticut, Irene (Joseph) Gorby, of Eighty Four; her brother, Lindsay Mann; her four sisters, Delcia (John) VojTush, Elaine (Alan) Baer,Vicki (Hollis) Rankin, Racine (Daniel) Partyka; fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Yanchak, brothers, Sherrill and Stephen Mann and a sister, Cordelia Dorunda and twins in infancy. 

Friends will be received  from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm on Sunday, April 28th at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.

Services will be held  at 11:30am on Monday, April 29th at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, with Pastor Steve Ramey officiating.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
