Charles A. Shoemaker

Charles  Shoemaker, 75, of Fredericktown, died Thursday, May 20, 2021.
He was born May 30, 1945 in Charleroi, a son of George H. and Sara Darraugh Shoemaker . 

Prior to his retirement, Charles worked as a police officer at North Strabane Township, for 29 years.
He also worked as a Deputy Sheriff  for Washington County and as a barber in his spare time.
Charles enjoyed ham radios, camping, watching western movies, but most of all, he enjoyed spoiling his granddaughter, Kaylee.

Surviving are son, Kenneth Shoemaker, of Bethel Park;  daughter, Tina (Roger) Coldren, of Belle Vernon; granddaughter, Kaylee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Fisher.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.

A memorial service will be held in the funeral home Thursday, May 27, 2021, from 6-8pm.
