Brenda Elaine Neely Smith

Brenda Elaine Neely Smith, 73, of Canonsburg, died Monday, June 5, 2023.
She was born November 10, 1949, in Morgantown, a daughter of Lynn and Margaret Wotring Neely. 
Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Brenda was active with the Magnolia High School Band Boosters, served as a "Den Mother", and was very active at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, in New Martinsville West Virginia.
She also was an active member of the Washington Presbyterian Church in America.
On April 4, 1970, she married her husband, Warder Ernest Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are her son, Nathan Andrew, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; her brother, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Neely, of Morgantown, West Virginia; niece, Lauren Neely, nephew, Grant (Audrey) Neely.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received Thursday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held Friday, at 10am, in the Washington Presbyterian Church, 100 Humbert Lane, Washington, PA, 15301, with Pastor Mike Bowen, officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church on Friday. Interment will take place in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens, US 33, Weston, W. Virginia, 26452, Friday at 3pm. 
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Washington City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, PA, 15301, in Brenda's name.
