Winfred H. "Will" Williams, 51, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 23, 2018.
He was born August 9, 1966, in Birmingham, Alabama, a son of Clarence Williams, Jr. and Lottie Mae Williams Paige. He was a 1984 graduate of Canon McMillan High School and was employed at Langeloth Metallurgical Co. in Langeloth, as an acid plant operator. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm.
Will liked classic cars and muscle cars. He enjoyed traveling, deep sea fishing, sports, good food, and most of all loved his family and friends and spending quality time with them.
Surviving are his mother, Lottie Mae Williams Paige, of Canonsburg; his son, Malcohm Williams, of Waynesville, Missouri; sisters, Norma Jean Williams, of Canonsburg, Lisha Rena (Bernard, III) Edmonds, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; 2 grandsons; Langstone, and Kendrick Williams, uncle, John "Bable" McClain, several nieces & nephews, and Thi Ann (Gold), his former wife and mother of his son.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Williams, Jr., and step father, Harry Paige.
Friends will be received Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Services will be held in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at 12:30 pm with Rev. Lance B. Witlock officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the church.
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
