Richard Anthony Miles

Richard Anthony Miles, 49, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, May 13, 2018.
He was born August 11, 1968, in Philadelphia, a son of Richard and Helen Massaro Miles. 
Richard was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Canonsburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the Stowe Sportsmans Club, the Muse Italian Club, and the S.N.P.J. Lodge 138. He was a dedicated husband and father, and loved spending time with his family.
Most recently, he worked at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino in the compliance and auditing department.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Jo LaJevic Miles; his sons, Joshua Miles and Zachary Miles; his daughter, Jordan Miles, all of Canonsburg; his mother, Helen Massaro Miles, of Cecil; his brother, Michael (Lori) Miles, of Cecil; mother in law, Jestine LaJevic, of Canonsburg; father-in-law, John (Sara Horstman) LaJevic, of Canonsburg; brother in law, John (Jamie) LaJevic, Jr., of Butler; nieces and nephews, Jessica Miles, Samuel Miles, Miranda LaJevic, Anthony LaJevic; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Paul Miles.
Friends will be received Wednesday 3-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayers will be held in the funeral home, Thursday, at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, in St. Patrick Church, at 10am.
Burial will be private.
