Paul Bodnar, Jr., 74, of Jamestown, formerly of Canonsburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2018.
He was born June 1, 1943, in Washington, a son of Paul and Mary Ellis Bodnar.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
Paul was a member of several civic and social organizations, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.
Surviving are his daughter, Becky (Mark) Barr, of Pittsburgh; nephews, Timmathy (Jennifer) Bodnar, of Mt. Lebanon; and Alan Bodnar.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Bodnar, sisters, Janice Guest and Patricia Ann Bodnar.
Friends will be received Wednesday, 4-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Additional visitation will be held Thursday, 11:30 to noon, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, with full military rites accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, post 191 honor guard.
