Norma Sue (Pierce) Harkreader

Norma Sue Harkreader, 87, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
She was born November 21, 1930, in Charleston, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Monroe and Mamie Sparks Pierce.
Mrs. Harkreader was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker.
On August 26, 1951, she married her husband of over 60 years, Gordon Gene Harkreader, who passed away July 11, 2012.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn (Michael) Prudich; her sons, Dennis (Leigh) Harkreader, David (Lynne) Harkreader; 5 grandchildren, Julie (Bret), Eric (Dana), Philip (Stacey), Brett, Darryl (Jessica); 3 step-grandchildren, Adam (Kelly), Brittany (Kevin), Jamie (Nat); 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Pierce.
At the request of the deceased, services are private and entrusted to the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
