Kent Douglas Armstrong, 58, of Crucible, died Sunday, October 8, 2017.

He was born September 21, 1959, in Washington, a son of Matthew Armstrong and Evelyn White Henney.

Kent enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, dirtbikes and A.T.V.'s,collecting antiques, and was an avid Steeler Football fan. He especially enjoyed time spent with his son, family and friends.

Surviving are his son, Aaron M. Armstrong, of Crucible; Mother, Evelyn Henney, of Carnegie; Father, Matt Armstrong, of Canonsburg; Brother, Kirk (Frances) Armstrong, of Canonsburg; step-brother, Michael Henney, of Uniontown; step-sister, Beth Hollerich, of Pittsburgh; 5 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcome in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000; Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8pm. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 8pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in care of his family.

God has taken an amazing angel home, loved by so many. An awesome father and the greatest friend anyone could ask for. Fly high Kent. We love and miss you.
