Katina A. Pihiou, 85, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

She was born April 16, 1932, in Rhodes, Greece, a daughter of Vassilli and Katholiki Manolankis Koupiaris.

Mrs. Pihiou was an active member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, loved to cook, and was well known for her cooking.

Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Pihiou; her son, Nick Pihiou and his fiance, Cheri Varner, and her daughter Amber Wagner; all of Canonsburg; brother, Mahili Koupiaris, and his wife Rita; sisters, Harriet Kachou and Beba Mavromati, all of Rhodes, Greece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony N. Pihiou, who died January 9, 2008, her brother, Manoli Koupiaris, and her sister, Georgia Kara.

Friends will be received Sunday from 4-8pm in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317, Trisagion, Sunday at 7pm. Additional visitation Monday, 10-11am in the church, followed by services Monday at 11am, with Father George L. Livanos, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
