Joseph Celio, 87, of Canonsburg, died Friday, December 22, 2017.

He was born June 18, 1930, in Palena Providence, Chieti, Italy, a son of the late Raffaele and Giovinia Teti Celio.

He proudly served his country with the United States Army during World War II.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Celio worked for the Ford Motor company in Cleveland, Ohio, and later as a Supervisor at Macys, in South Hills.

Surviving are his brother, Albert Celio, of Strabane, Richard Celio and his wife Marilyn, of Scott Township; sisters, Antoinette Liberatore of Canonsburg, Jean Lucas, of McMurray; several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mario "Rocky" Celio, Lucien Celio, and his sister, Mary Sacco.
