Edward Moran Mirenna, 87, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, August 23, 2018.
He was born May 15, 1931, in Carrick, a son of Frank and Carmella Bisceglia Moran.
Ed was a member of St. Patrick's Parish, Canonsburg.
He was a member of the White Eagles Society, and American Legion post #902.
He proudly served his county in the United States Army for four years during the Korean conflict.
Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed carpenter, who specialized in home remodeling. Ed was the last of his immediate family and is survived by several nieces & nephews, and companion. Irene Manduzio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, George, Albert, Tony, his sisters, Elizabeth, Elsie, Jennie, Rosie, Lillian, and Eva.
Friends will be received Sunday, 4-8 pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held in the funeral home, Monday, at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Pittsburgh, 603 Stanwix St., Pittsburgh, Pa 15222, in Edward Mirenna's name.
