Dorothy Jean "Liz" Weller, 90, of Washington, formerly of North Strabane and Chartiers Townships, died Saturday, June 10, 2017.

She was born February 12, 1927, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Edwin and Edna Few Rhodes.

Mrs. Weller was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a salesperson at Lang's in the Washington Mall for many years, and as a secretary at the DanDee potato chip factory in Cecil.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Surviving are two sons, Jay Weller, and his wife, Christine of North Strabane, Scott Weller, and his wife, Rhonda, of Newnan, Georgia; daughter, Janet Herb, of Cumming, Georgia; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Howard F. Weller, who died January 20, 2014; brother, James Rhodes.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, from 9 to 11 am, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Services will be held Saturday, at 11 am, with Pastor Jason Heffner, officiating.
