Dorothy Vergnola

Dorothy Vergnola, 92, of Zelienople, formerly of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, on her 92nd birthday.
She was born November 6, 1926, in Cuddy, a daughter of  Anthony and Ann Glassic Puz. 
Mrs. Vergnola was Catholic.  She was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother, and loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed polka music.
On April 26, 1948, she married William Vergnola, who died December 7, 2005.
Surviving are her daughter, Erma Vergnola Safranek of Zelienople, three  grandchildren, Jayme Safranek (Timothy) Smith, Jennifer Safranek (Richard) Marcotte, William (Heather) Vergnola, III, seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Smith,  Abbey Smith,  Max Marcotte,  Sam Marcotte,  Madeline Marcotte,  Taryn Vergnola,  Kylie Vergnola. and her sister, Mary Jane Steffan.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Vergnola, was preceded in death by her son, William Vergnola, Jr., son-in-law, James Safranek, and her brothers, Anthony Puz, II, Rudy Puz, and Louis Puz.
