Stephen A. "Skip" Tomecsko, 73, of Strabane, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016.

He was born June 22, 1943, in Canonsburg, a son of Stephen and Helen Franko Tomecsko.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for Cooper Industries.

He was a member of the S.N.P.J., where he was active with the button box club, and enjoyed playing bass guitar.

Surviving are his daughters, Christine Tomecsko, of Canonsburg, Kimberly (Brien) Kocher; brothers, James (Carole) Tomecsko, of Canonsburg, David Tomecsko, of Arizona; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa Kocher and Alex Kocher; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Friday, 4-6pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Services will be held Friday at 6pm in the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
