We'll miss you uncle Pete. I'll especially miss your smile and laugh when you would tell me a joke in the kitchen and how your face could take a serious turn when making a point you felt strongly about! I always admired your patience which for me seemed endless and for which I was always grateful. Even now I can feel what it was like to work next to you in front of that grill; you thinking, juggling, flipping, pivoting and calmly watching what I was doing, even when I burned the toast for an order that was otherwise ready to go.

I will miss you dearly, Uncle Pete, but I will forever keep you in my heart as a source of inspiration and guidance. Your presence was a blessing from God.
