Janina Jalowka, 81, of Hyattsville, Maryland, formerly of Canonsburg, died Saturday, November 26, 2016.

She was born March 14, 1935, in Poland.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a cook.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Jalowka was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jalowka; brother, Kazimierz Czajka; and her sister, Barbara Skrzek.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 11-12:30, in the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Departing prayers will be held at 12:30pm, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, at 1pm.

Burial will follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
