James Aaron Nixon, 29, of Cuddy, died Saturday, April 7, 2018.
He was born May 2, 1988, in Denver, a son of William Edward Nixon and Cheryl Culver Hackman.
James was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. He was the president of his culinary class at W.A.C.T.C., and graduated from the Bidwell Training Center Culinary Program. He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers Fan. He was a talented Chef and Musician, former M.M.A. fighter, and friend to all.
Surviving are his wife, Sarai Garman; father, William E. (Pamela) Nixon, of Avella; mother, Cheryl (Michael) Hackman, of Denton, Texas; brothers, David Allen (Amber Carrigan) Wisniewski, of Parker, Colorado, William E. Nixon, Jr., of Avella, Greg (Kelley) Gayarski, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandmothers, Helga Nixon, of Meadowlands, Angie Beth Culver, of Denton, Texas; nieces, Mira Wisniewski, and Emma Gayarski.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward Nixon, and Hebert Ray Culver.
Friends will be received Friday 4 to 8pm and Saturday 10 to 11am, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held in the funeral home Saturday, at 11am, followed by burial in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
