Gladys P. Olson, 91, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, October 15, 2017.

She was born September 23, 1926, in Grindstone, a daughter of Renaldo and Sarah Zeli Pompei.

She had strong faith and was a member of Kingdom Hall in Bridgeville, where she enjoyed studying the bible with others.

Mrs. Olson was a dedicated wife and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and traveling.

Surviving are her son, David Olson, and his wife Deborah, of McDonald; two daughters, Miriam Lash-Crimin, and her husband, Ray, of Arizona, Beth Olson, and her husband, Michael Attenberger, of Canonsburg; two sisters, Betty Pompei of McMurray, Bernie DiStefano, and her husband, Fred, of Hershey; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Merle Olson, who died February 6, 2012; two brothers, John and Jerome Pompei, and her sister, Juanita Tibieri.
