George David Bobble, 70, of Cecil, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, with his wife and his family at his side. After a long and courageous battle with C.O.P.D., George is free from pain.

He was born January 8, 1947, in Hendersonville, a son of the late Metro and Helen Maceiko Bobble.

George was an avid golfer, and loved to hunt. On July 18, 1970, he married his wife of over 47 years, Geraldine Grendys Bobble, who survives.

Also surviving are his sisters, Carol Mitchell, of Sewickley, Peggy (Samuel) Failla, of Center Township; his brother-in-law, Richard (Carol) Grendys, of Bridgeville; his sister-in-law, Bernadette (Ronald) Sebastian, of Clairton; several cousins; nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received Friday, Noon -7pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Additional visitation will be held Saturday, from 10-11am, in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, in the funeral home, followed by burial in the St. Mary Cemetery, Scott Township.
