Doris Jane "Dodo" Rabe, of Washington, died Friday, January 27, 2017 in her home after a very couragous battle with breast cancer.

She was born September 1, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Alex and Margaret Oshetsky Jester.

She was Catholic and attended Mass at Immaculate Conception Church.

Prior to her retirement, she managed Gordon Office Equipment, and later became co-owner of South West Office Products.

Dodo loved her dog, her cat, and enjoyed singing and especially being a dedicated wife and homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Douglas E. Rabe; daughter, Tammy Rabe, of Buffalo, New York; brothers, Alexander Jester, and his wife Paula, of Claysville, Alan Jester, and his wife Kathy, of Houston; sister, Joan Wargo, and her husband Frank, of Strabane; grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob and Ashley Rabe; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark A. Prince; nephew, Frank Wargo; and her neice, Cory Haught.

Friends will be received Monday 2-6pm, at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Services will be held in the funeral home at 6pm Monday, with Pastor Steven Parkhill, officiating.

Burial will be private.
