David J. Imhoff, 84, of Lawrence, died Saturday, October 1, 2016.

He was born November 21, 1931, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William and Loretta Maurer Imhoff.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Imhoff worked as a draftsman for heavy machinery in the steel industry.

He attended Faith Bible chapel in Lawrence. He enjoyed "HAM" radio, was an accomplished artist, and enjoyed repairing just about anything.

On July 16, 1995, he married his loving wife, Janis C. Dunn Imhoff, who survives. Also surviving are children, Theresa (Peter) Gannett, of Florida, Martin (Sue Ann) Imhoff, of Oregon; Nancy (Bruce) Rose, of Hawaii; sister-in-law, Roberta Imhoff, of Pittsburgh; step-daughters, Bonnie (Mark) Yakubisin, of Ohio, Debra (Mark) Fajerski, of Claysville; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Rose, David Imhoff, Amy Gannett, Wendy Rose, Julia Rose, Michael Imhoff, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, Veronica Ryzner Imhoff; brothers, Richard and Robert Imhoff.

Friends will be received Tuesday, 3-6pm at the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollo director, 724-746-1000.
